Winnie the Pooh Blood and Honey Release Date Philippines

Winnie the Pooh and Piglet went into the public domain and the first thing they did was create a wild riot.

Originally created by author A. A. Milne and illustrator E. H. Shepard, Winnie-the-Pooh is an adorable anthropomorphic teddy bear that holds a special place in the hearts of many. The first mention of Winnie-the-Pooh was in Milne’s 1924 poem, but it wasn’t until 1961, when Disney acquired the license to the name and possibility, that it created one of the most successful franchises to date. Disney has also removed the hyphen from the title so everyone can save precious time when writing about Winnie Pooh.

In January 2022, Milne’s Winnie-the-Pooh went into public domain, meaning Disney no longer has exclusive control over how this “stupid bear” is portrayed in the media. Writer and director Rhys Waterfield seized this opportunity when he decided to make a live-action slasher film called Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey. Waterfield is known for his familiarity with horror comedy films, working as a producer for titles such as The Legend of Jack and Jill, Spider in the Attic, The Curse of Bloody Mary, and Wrath of Van Helsing. He currently has several films in post-production and has repeatedly collaborated with the actors in his own films on several occasions.

Waterfield reused the hyphen in the title of the movie, especially because it was based on Milne’s 1920s “Winnie-the-Pooh” and didn’t want to be confused with a child-appropriate Disney movie. The film is produced and distributed by ITN Studios and Jagged Edge Productions. You may have many questions, so read on to learn everything we know so far about this childhood nightmare movie. Oh, annoying.

Visits and adventures with Christopher Robin on 100 acres of woods become less frequent as you get older. When Christopher Robin leaves for college, Winnie the Pooh, Piglet, and other animal friends are left alone with nothing to eat. Mixed with the pain and despair of giving up, they revert to more animalistic traits to survive. Winnie the Pooh and Piglet are essentially bears and boars running around frantically in a world that seems to be no longer full of friendships, wonders, and possibilities.

After Christopher meets one of her girls and falls in love with her, he decides to take her to her forest to introduce her to her childhood friend. He doesn’t realize that they have already turned savage at this point. Will they recognize him and turn him into a creature they want to cuddle again? I doubt it. To be honest, it’s probably in his best interest that Piglet and Pooh don’t remember his careless betrayal and abandonment.

In addition to Christopher Robin and his new fiancé returning to the woods, a group of college women also rent a secluded cabin in the woods. Furious with murderous fury over the appearance of Christopher Robin, Winnie the Pooh and Piglet make this easy target. They intimidate women in a true slasher film style, picking one out at a time. Can one of the protagonists find a way to take down these berserk animals? Or could the 100-acre forest be wiped out?

yes! The official teaser trailer has finally been released on August 31, 2022, and that’s all fans can get excited about. Watch the trailer below!

Filming for the film, which ended in May, is estimated to have taken place in just 10 days. After releasing several stills of the video, the Internet reaction was immediate. Now that we’ve seen the trailer, several viewers have noted exceptionally dark details. A temporary tombstone can be seen in the background with “Eeyore R.I.P.” while Christopher Robin and his fiance search for Pooh and Piglet. It was scribbled in red over it. Did he starve? Has he succumbed to his trademark gloomy character? Or maybe something more sinister happened to him at the hands of his old friends…

It is the debut film of the independent film Rhys Waterfield, with a limited cast. Winnie the Pooh is played by relatively newcomer Craig David Dowsett. Dowsett will also appear in the upcoming comedy horror film The House That Zombies Built, which is currently filming. Piglet is played by Chris Cordell. Like his fellow actors, he’s no stranger to this genre that transforms childhood stories into twisted horror comedies. His first feature film was The Curse of Humpty Dumpty, followed by Spider in the Attic by Rhys Waterfield.

Amber Doig-Thorne, who co-starred with Craig David Dowsett in The House That Zombies Built, will be the lead scrim queen. She joins Natasha Tosini (Quarantine Leap), Maria Taylor (Perfectly Frank), Natasha Rose Mills (The Heiress), May Kelly (graphic design), and Danielle Ronald (Curse of Bloody Mary). Christopher Robin is played by British actor Nikolai Leon. This is his second film and collaboration with director Rhys Wate.

rfield, following the release of Demonic Christmas Tree. Christopher Robin’s fiancée, Mary, will be played by Paula Coiz (Tooth Fairy: Queen of Pain).

The possible release date of October 20, 2022, has been doing the rounds online. However, take that information with a grain of salt because there hasn’t been any confirmation on this. The United States release date might include streaming options in conjunction with a theatrical release. There’s also the possibility that Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey might get released straight to a streaming service and skip the box office entirely. We can only hope that the release will be in the next month or so, as the official trailer only says “Coming Soon.”
