Even if you’re not afraid of heights, there are still some movies that are able to convince you otherwise. Any Mission: Impossible film falls into that category, for example.
The latest to have you clutching onto your armrest for balance is the aptly titled Fall.
Directed by Scott Mann, this survival drama focuses its lens on best friends Becky and Hunter. They chase thrills and are always up for pushing their limits; extreme tourists, if you will. Their latest adventure sees them climbing a 2,000 feet abandoned radio tower.
However, there’s just one problem… they can’t get down. Will they climb down safely and live to tell the tale? There’s only one way to find out. Here’s where to watch the 2022 movie Fall.
Fall is screening in US theaters from Friday, August 12th 2022.
You can check for showtimes and theaters showing it near you over on the Fandango website. It is not currently available for streaming.
UK audiences will be pleased to learn that it’s getting a theatrical release on Friday, September 2nd 2022. However, there are actually some single advanced showings at such chains as Showcase and Cineworld on Tuesday, August 30th.
So, for those in the UK, it’s worth seeing if your local cinema has a screening available on that date.

The film’s director recently sat down for an interview with Movie Web and opened up about the film’s more personal and emotional elements.
“I think at the core of it, there’s an element of grief after losing someone, and then climbing up and rising up again. I think there’s a resonance, a personal part, but a wider bit I would say as much about what we’ve been through the last couple of years as a world.”
He added: “We’ve kind of all been through this traumatic experience, and I think we’re all looking to climb out of that. I think weirdly having the escapism of a trauma-type movie like this, that then pumps you on the other side with a message that heals you, I think that’s what people can really take from it…”
Wrapping up some thoughts, he argued that Fall is “a heart-stopper with a big heart… that’s the thing that resonates.”
Fall is now playing in US theaters.
