All eyes are on Netflix this May — and not just because the fourth season of “Stranger Things” finally premieres on May 27. The monster streamer recently announced that it’d lost 200,000 subscribers in the first quarter of 2022.
That may seem like chump change compared to the nearly 222 million Netflix subscribers globally, but the streamer has already started making cutbacks, dumping a sizable portion of its fan-focused Tudum staff, canceling a number of series in development, and declining to renew a handful of others.
Still, Netflix is gonna Netflix, which means the streamer is dumping plenty of fresh and refurbished content onto the platform for your eager eyeballs this May.
