South releases to binge watch in second week of August 2022 – India Today

What viewers in the country’s northern and central regions used to look for as Hindi or English releases have now adopted a new category in the form of South releases.
While we had a lot of South Asian films and web series to watch in the month of July, OTT titans are preparing to release more of this genre’s material in the current month as well.
Here’s a list of South releases to binge-watch in the second week of August 2022:
Vikram K Kumar just released the Telugu love drama ‘Thank You’. This film’s story centres on a prosperous app developer who lives in the US.
He is forced to reflect on his history and challenges when his personal and professional lives collide. In the film, Avika Gor, Malavika Nair, Sai Sushant Reddy, Prakash Raj, and a number of other actors play supporting parts alongside Naga Chaitanya and Raashi Khanna in the key roles.
Raghu, played by Nirup Bhandari, is a professional singer who performs at the upscale restaurant owned by Amrutha Iyengar’s character Anjali. Raghu falls in love with a girl he has only ever seen through a train window at the start of the crime drama.
Anoop Panicker’s forensic thriller film ‘Cadaver’ centres on Dr Badra, played by Amala Paul, who takes on the case of the rape and death of a young girl, and the subsequent events.
