Director Scott Mann’s thriller Fall, which stars Grace Caroline Currey (a.k.a. Grace Fulton, Shazam!) and Virginia Gardner (Halloween 2018) as a pair of characters who get stuck at the top of a 2000 foot tall radio tower, was given a theatrical release back in August and can now be viewed on Amazon or purchased on Blu-ray or DVD (order it HERE). One viewer who caught up with the movie on Amazon was legendary author Stephen King – and he was so impressed with it, he took to social media to say he wished he had been the one who wrote it!
King tweeted, “FALL (Amazon Prime, maybe others): Tight, terrific, and very, very scary. Reminded me a bit of DUEL. Wish I’d written it.”
Fall was actually written by Scott Mann and Jonathan Frank. They crafted the following story:
For best friends Becky and Hunter, life is all about conquering fears and pushing limits. But after they climb 2,000 feet to the top of a remote, abandoned radio tower, they find themselves stranded with no way down. Now Becky and Hunter’s expert climbing skills will be put to the ultimate test as they desperately fight to survive the elements, a lack of supplies, and vertigo-inducing heights.
Currey and Gardner are joined in the cast by Jeffrey Dean Morgan (The Walking Dead) and Mason Gooding (Scream 2022).
James Harris and Mark Lane, who previously produced 47 Meters Down – which trapped Mandy Moore and Claire Holt at the bottom of shark-infested waters – produced Fall with Scott Mann and Christian Mercuri. Brianna Lee Johnson was the line producer.
I really enjoyed Fall myself, and so did our reviewer Tyler Nichols, who gave the movie a 7/10 review you can read at THIS LINK. Have you seen Fall? If so, what did you think of it? Let us know by leaving a comment below.
