June will be a great month for movie lovers and TV show enthusiasts, with some of the best releases of 2022 coming this month. But we know how selfish anime fans can sometimes get, only caring about the anime movies and shows and nothing else. Well, we can’t blame them; it’s the greatest content anyone looking for perfect entertainment could find.

Now that May has come to an end; you have probably watched all the great anime released in May. And now, you are looking forward to enjoying the new ones June is going to offer you, isn’t it? For now, let’s just say that you’re going to love this month even more with so much content stacked for release.

It would be fair to start the list with an anime that tops the anime world for most fans. Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero is an upcoming movie in the franchise, directed by Tetsuro Kodama.

You would have enjoyed the movie in April this year, but it had to be delayed due to some network intrusion issue with Toei Animation. This upcoming Dragon Ball movie will bring back Red Ribbon Army once again, this time with even stronger Androids, Gamma 1 and Gamma 2.

It’s hard to find anything better than Mobile Suit Gundam franchise when it comes to anime with mecha, military science, and sci-fi. After a TV series with a total of 43 episodes and three films released back in the 1980s, the franchise is finally coming back with another movie this month, Cucuraz Doan’s Island. The Earth Federation Forces plan an operation to capture the headquarters of Zeon’s Earth, known as Odessa.

If you aren’t hyped enough for Spriggan, then it’s because you haven’t watched its official trailer yet. So if you haven’t, then go watch it first because it promises great animation, intense fight scenes, and of course, a great story. The six-episode anime will take you to the adventures of the Spriggan agents of the ARCAM corporation, who are trying to protect the relic of the alien civilization from falling into the wrong hands.

If your taste is in the romantic comedy genre, then a movie based on popular anime, Teasing Master Takagi-san, is coming out for you. The movie is directed by Hiroaki Akagi, known for his ongoing anime series, A Couple of Cuckoos. The story of the movie is simple and sweet. While walking their way home, Takagi and Nishikata find a kitten who they decide to call Hana. They take responsibility for the kitten until they find her mother.

Here’s another great anime releasing in June 2022; Kaito Queen, also known as Mirage Queen. It is a novel series written by Kaoru Hayamine and illustrated by K2 Shokai. Started in March 2002, 15 volumes of the series have been released till now. Not much is known about the upcoming theatrical OVA, but it’s about a Phantom Thief Queen, a person known to steal anything they desire. They fly around the world alongside their partners, Joker and RD.

Netflix released the official trailer of Bastard!! anime TV series a few months ago, and it’s been keeping the fans on edge since then. It’s the most spine-chilling anime trailer you might ever see. The dark fantasy, post-apocalyptic, and sorcery anime takes place when the evil forces try to restore the God of Destruction, Anthrasax. To counter the powerful demon, the Kingdom of Meta-llicana calls for a powerful wizard for help.
